WEST SACRAMENTO, CA - A clerk working at an AM/PM in the 800 block of Harbor Boulevard was stabbed three times during a robbery around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Lieutenant Tod Sockman of the West Sacramento Police Department said the robber entered the store and demanded cash, after which a struggle ensued and the AM/PM employee was stabbed.

The clerk was taken to the hospital with what Sockman described as "non-life-threatening injuries".

Sockman described the robber as a black man, between 20 and 30 years old, approximately six-feet tall and 200 pounds, wearing a blue-striped short-sleeve shirt, blue pants and a black beanie with a short brim.
